Drawing Cats is where we start because it asks nothing of you except showing up with a pencil. No art experience needed. No pressure to make it look a certain way. The whole point is to sit together and draw — and to laugh when the cat ends up looking like something else entirely.
What you'll need:

- Plain white paper
- Colored pencils, crayons
- A flat surface to work on

A few things before you sit down together:

Put your phone somewhere out of reach if you can. Not because you have to, but because these 30 minutes go faster than you think, and it's worth being fully inside them.

Let your child lead where they want to take it. If their cat gets wings or three tails, that's the best possible outcome 🙂

When you're done, sign both your names and the date on the back. You'll be glad you did later.
