This project combines different materials on a single surface: paint, paper, drawing, and maybe a little texture. The result looks complex, but you build it in simple steps, and each layer corrects any mistakes from the previous one. That's one of the things I love most about it.
What you'll need:
- A canvas, thick cardstock, or watercolor paper as your base
- Watercolor paint (blue color)
- Paint brush
- Cup of waterÂ
- Plate or color palette for mixing watercolor
- Tissue paper or old book pages, magazine/journal/newspaper pages
- Stick or White craft glue
- Crayons
- Acrylic markers or simple markersÂ
- Black pen or Black fine-liner
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Scissors
