Handmade stickers are endlessly usable. Your child will stick them in notebooks, on water bottles, on letters to friends, and on their bedroom door. Every time they use one they’ve made themselves that matters to them more than we sometimes realize.
This project is also one of the most flexible — you can make stickers that are silly, detailed, themed, or completely abstract. There's no wrong way to design a sticker.
What you'll need:
- Printer/Office paper
- Pencil
- Fine-liner markers or colored pencils for drawing
- Scissors
- Clear tape (scotch tape)
- Parchment paper used for baking
Optional:
- Black pen to outline
- Eraser and pencil sharpener (in case you need)
One idea:
Make stickers that are themed around your child's favorite animal, food, color, or inside joke between the two of you. Those personal details make the stickers feel like they belong entirely to them.
